A Need for Longitudinal Research in Information Access

Great strides have been made in freedom of information (FOI) research, but the next step is developing a consistent, systematic measure on-the-ground FOI compliance across varying jurisdictions, and resources to make it happen over time. Longitudinal, accurate data could help community policy makers improve public process empower citizens strengthen government accountability.
